Graduate Reviews

“I cannot say enough incredible things about Hanna and the Good Space Teacher Training Program. It truly exceeded every expectation I had for a yoga teacher certification. From the very beginning, Hanna created an environment that felt both deeply supportive and intentionally challenging in the best way. Her teaching style is thoughtful, empowering, and rooted in authenticity. She doesn’t just teach you how to sequence a class; she teaches you how to hold space, how to trust your voice, and how to step into your role as a teacher with confidence and purpose. What makes this program stand out is the depth. It goes far beyond the physical practice of yoga. We explored philosophy, breathwork, intentional cueing, and the art of connection—both with ourselves and with our future students. Every module felt purposeful, and every conversation felt meaningful. You’re not just learning poses, you’re learning how to create experiences. The community Hanna cultivates is something truly special. There is a sense of safety, encouragement, and genuine care that allows you to show up exactly as you are while still being pushed to grow. I walked away not only as a more confident teacher, but as a more grounded and self-aware person. If you’re looking for a transformational teacher training, empowering, and rooted in real connection, Good Space is it. Hanna is the kind of mentor who changes the way you see yourself and that is something you carry far beyond the mat.”

Completing the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Blue Sky Yoga in collaboration with Good Space was nothing short of transformative. From the very first session, it was clear that this program was created with deep care, integrity, and a true respect for the roots and purpose of yoga. The instructors brought such wisdom, warmth, and authenticity into the space, creating a supportive environment that encouraged both personal and professional growth. What I appreciated most was how the training honored yoga as more than just a physical practice. It was an invitation to connect more deeply to self, to community, and to the world around us. I didn’t just learn how to sequence a class or guide a posture (though those skills were taught beautifully); I learned how to hold space, how to integrate breath and intention, and how to weave the mind-body-soul connection into every offering I share. Now, stepping into my role as a yoga teacher, I feel confident, grounded, and inspired to share this practice with others in a way that is inclusive, intentional, and healing. I’m leaving this training with not just tools, but a purpose—to spread the essence of yoga to a wider audience and help others find connection, presence, and peace. If you’re considering yoga teacher training and want a program rooted in heart and depth of knowledge, I can’t recommend this one enough.”

“The space created by the lead instructors of this Yoga Teacher Training experience was truly exceptional. They fostered an environment rooted in compassion, inclusivity, and genuine care, which made it easy to feel supported throughout the program. The curriculum struck a thoughtful balance between covering the required material and allowing each trainee the space to explore and apply the teachings in a way that felt personally meaningful. I especially appreciated how the instructors encouraged self-inquiry and growth, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach to teaching yoga. There was plenty of discussion both as a group and between students as we moved through the material, and each training day felt well balanced between instruction and interactive learning. Highlights for me included the weekend dedicated to the chakras, as well as the time spent on anatomy, posture clinics, and fascia. There were too many life-changing takeaways from the program to name; however, I can confidently say that the education and the community I gained over these eight months will stay with me. I left the program not only feeling prepared to teach, but also more connected to my own practice and voice. I cannot recommend this program and its instructors enough.”

“The YTT provided a great balance between posture clinics, practice teaching, and more conceptual yogic principles, which helped deepen both my physical practice and connection to self and spirit. The instructors were very knowledgeable, strong leaders, and genuinely supportive of all experience levels and backgrounds. They created an environment that encouraged us to explore and make the practice our own, which I really appreciated. Grateful for the time, care, and intention that went into creating such a thoughtful training.”

“This training has completely changed my life for the better. When I first enrolled for this training, I was just wanting to deepen my personal practice and have a better idea of the yogic philosophy. Little did I know that I would be going through a life transformation, and I would truly return to my true self. The way that Hanna set up this program really allowed for us to undergo what Yoga truly means. We all healed deeply and now have a platform as teachers to be able to share with others, and help others on their journey. Yoga is way more than the postures and that is exactly what you get with this training. Thank you so much. I highly recommend.”

“Going through teacher training with Good Space was life changing. I learned about the things you’d expect: yoga history, the 8 limbs, how to sequence a class, the business of being a teacher, etc. But I also learned more about myself, became part of a community, and made life long friends. I highly recommend teacher training through Good Space.”

“Hanna and Annie are the perfect teaching combination. Coupling deep knowledge of yoga history with anatomy, sequencing, breathwork, and the pragmatics of yoga as a career, they offered a comprehensive overview of the yoga practice that invites their students to continue learning and growing beyond the initial 200 hours. I feel more than prepared to teach yoga classes, and I look forward to continued mentorship and connection with the community I built during this training. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn in person while also growing in an intentional community that will last far beyond the 8-month training time.”
- Maria A.

“I had a great experience learning from Hanna at Good Space and Annie at Blue Sky! Their experience and expertise were exceptional, yet what I ended up appreciating the most was the warm and encouraging demeanor of the class. As a student, you will gain not only the technical skills you will need to succeed as a yoga teacher but also the soft skills necessary to flourish as a lifelong yoga student.”
- Anna H.

I really appreciated the thoroughness in which Hanna and Annie created their curricula and learning space. It was very evident to me that both care very deeply for not only the success of each teacher candidate, but also their well-being. I learned an incredible amount of information and also was able to work on some necessary personal growth during the course. I would highly recommend Good Space to anyone searching for a yoga teacher training.”

My Yoga Teacher Training experience with Good Space held at Blue Sky Yoga STL was AMAZING! It had theory, history, practical application, introspection, community, and so much more. I learned so much and feel so confident after this comprehensive experience. I know that I have the foundation to carry me as I begin to teach yoga in the community.”
