A thorough introduction to Hatha Yoga. This class explores the entire body, beginning with movements that stretch & open the joints and relax the muscles (Pawanmuktasana Series). Sun Salutations are performed to warm and prepare the body for standing, balancing, and seated asana. During this practice focused on alignment and intentional movement, you can expect longer-held postures to build strength and flexibility. Time and space are given for personal exploration within the pose. We conclude our practice with relaxation (savasana) and gratitude. . . and with the love and inspiration of our dearly beloved, we’ll be listening to the music of Prince.
