Yoga for Healing Workshop

In this workshop, we will look at how yoga can support emotional healing. Yoga’s focus on turning inward provides a way for one to make a connection between the physical and emotional self.

Through discussion, meditation and asana (yoga poses) we will explore the relationship between the body and held emotions or energy. You will learn skills that can be taken off the mat to support finding emotional balance, safety and stability in the body. Discussion will be followed by a one hour Yoga For Healing practice where we will explore tapping into our own inner resilience and strength as we reclaim, reconnect and restore body and mind.

This workshop is open to all ability levels. Chairs will be available. Please bring water, a notebook and something to write with. If you have any questions or concerns please email Julie at
