Sivananda Sundays

A meditative physical practice, focused on spirituality and positive thinking, this class opens with pranayama (breathing excercises) and mantra (chanting), followed by Sun Salutations to warm the body, we practice the [prescribed] 12  basic* asana and end our practice with savasana and gratitude.

*the prescribed asana in Sivananda yoga begins with a handstand; however, if handstand is not in your practice, please still come and explore other options for this part of the sequence.
