The Yamas and Niyamas are the first 2 of the 8 limbs of yoga. Unfortunately, these two gems are often overshadowed by the third limb of yoga: asana (yoga poses). There are 5 yamas and 5 niyamas respectively. This workshop presents these important subjects in an easy to understand way. But rest assured that if you don't understand everything, it comes in time...like all things. You will see how it all readily translates into your everyday life AND yoga practice.
Stacy Furr E-RYT500 is leading this lecture. She is a teacher of teachers and has been teaching this subject matter for nearly a decade. Her approach is casual and she invites her students to chime in and use their voices. You are encouraged to bring a notebook, pen, and bottled water.
